The industrial legacy and emerging creative energy of the East Village neighborhood in downtown San Diego informed a brand identity and mindset for the project. A library of photographic assets were gathered from historical warehouses, as well as the artists, bikeshops and brewers of the moment. A blend of art and industry was put to work through bright but selective color, letterpress collateral, and community-sourced art elements adorning the common spaces.
